Obituary of Armando Sandoval

Armando passed from this earth at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Armando “Mando” Sandoval was born on Thursday, August 21, 1958 to Doroteo and Estefanita (Reyna) Sandoval, Sr. in Nixon, Texas. He was the youngest of 7 children. He joined the Army National Guard in 1974 and served 3 years. He spent 32 years of his life working as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents Doroteo Sandoval, Sr. and Estefanita Reyna Sandoval, and brother Evaristo “Sonny” Sandoval. He is survived by his three children; daughters, Stephanie Sandoval and Selena Sandoval (Jason), and only son, Steven Sandoval, all of Campbellton, Texas. His grandchildren, Alexander Adam, Kiana Rene Morales, Alexis Nicole Sandoval and Jason Armando Lara. His brothers and sisters, Ricardo Sandoval ( Margie) Burlington, Colorado, Ramona Pena (Guadalupe) San Antonio, Texas, Consuelo Garcia (Felix) Bethune, Colorado, Doroteo (JR) Sandoval, Jr. Pleasanton, Texas, Alma Mireles (Martin – deceased) Burlington, Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews. Armando was a long time resident of South Texas, Campbellton and Pleasanton. There is where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He spent the last few years of his life in Burlington, Colorado surrounded by family and friends.
