Obituary of Rodrigo Robles Grajeda, Sr.

Rodrigo Robles Grajeda Sr., age 70 of Burlington, CO passed away Sunday April 16, 2017 at the Sunset Manor in Brush, CO. Rodrigo was born on November 21, 1946 in Riva Palacio Chihuahua, Chih Mexico to Andres Robles Cereceres and Guadalupe Grajeda Caballero. He was one of ten children. Rodrigo married Maria Cruz Rodriguez Corral on January 27, 1968 in Riva Palacio Chihuahua, Chih Mexico. To this union four children were born. The couple moved to Burlington, CO in May of 1979 where Rodrigo was a farmer. Rodrigo was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Burlington. He enjoyed playing poker and dominos with family and friends. Rodrigo is survived by his wife Maria of Burlington; sons Rodrigo Robles Rodriguez (Kristie) of Burlington and Ramiro Robles Rodriguez of Burlington; daughters Bertha Alicia Robles de Valenzo (Hugo) of Chihuahua, Chih Mexico and Marcelina Robles Rodriguez of Burlington; siblings Andres Robles, Maria Luisa Robles (Leonordo Bautista) and Jose Luis Robles (Ana Lilia Acosta), all of Mexico, and Manuel Robles (Hermelinda Trevizo) of Hayes, KS; grandchildren Maria Lynn (Benito Burciaga), Jorge Armando Rios, Victoria Adrianna Robles, Kayla Diane Robles, Brenda Joann Robles, and Jasmin Marie Robles as well as great grandchildren Bryant and Alexander Burciaga all of Burlington; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Rodrigo was preceded in death by his parent; siblings Guadalupe Baquera, Eva Rivera, Gilberto Robles, Romelia Serna, and Alfredo Robles; sister-in-law Maria Victoria Fernandez; and one granddaughter Nicole Valenzo.
