William Linnebur

Obituary of William Frederick Linnebur

William Frederick Linnebur was born December 18, 1983 and passed away March 10, 2017 at the age of 33 years old. William was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Lloyd and Shirley (Scheller) Linnebur. William was the youngest sibling of ten, with seven brothers and two sisters. He was married to Brandi Trujillo August 29, 2015, and their baby girl Ava Lynn was born January 14, 2017. William and his family lived in Aurora, Colorado and he farmed with his brothers east of Byers, Colorado. He graduated from Byers High School in 2002 and earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Colorado State University in 2006. He worked at an engineering firm until he rejoined his family to follow his passion in farming and he continued to farm until his passing. Words cannot express the loss of William as he filled a space in our hearts that will forever be void. William was strong in character and stature, so much like his father and a gentleness of faith and compassion from his mother. He worked fiercely to fulfill his role as a son, brother, uncle, husband and father. He was exceedingly intelligent and creative and used these gifts for the benefit of the farm and his family. He possessed a childlike purity and innocence that kept us all young. His relationship with Brandi and starting his own family brought on many new adventures. William and Brandi lived a full life in their short time together. They enjoyed spending time with friends and family, running races, visiting the ocean, learning to snowboard, hiking, and going to Bronco games. They traveled to places like Disney Land, Las Vegas, Napa Valley, Mexico, and planned to travel more with Ava in the future. All of Brandi's family became his own and he was always there to bring a smile and lend a helping hand. The arrival of Ava brought great joy to William. He called her his "little lamb" since she was born in lambing season. He was a wonderful dad who was very proud of his little girl. He loved holding Ava, making her laugh, and reading to her as often as he could. He gave his whole heart to his wife Brandi and daughter Ava. This generosity of spirit will leave a great void in the lives of those whom he loved and loved him in return. The impact of losing William ripples far beyond his family and those who knew him personally. The community lost an individual who was dedicated to preserving a way of life and a legacy of faith, family and farming. His death is a loss for those who share his commitments. William is survived by his wife, Brandi, and baby girl, Ava Lynn; mother, Shirley Linnebur; siblings, Matt, Alan (Donna), Frank, Mark (Michelle), Paul (Deanna), Angela (Scott) McCauley, Lloyd Jr. (Karen), Andy (Trace) and Barbara (Joel) Licata. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Kyle, Hallie, Benjamin, Emily, Sarah, Laura, McKay, Ethan, Adrianna, Lindsay, James, John, Sydney, Olivia, Symantha, Audrey, Sophie, Hope, Alex, Luke, Anna, Treyce, Karley, Samuel, Ella, Noah, Lincoln and Adelaide. Also, mother-in-law, Nadine Trujillo; father-in-law, Tim Trujillo; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Matthew Duncan; and nieces Samantha and Sydney Duncan and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Hubert Linnebur; grandparents, Bernard and Lona Linnebur and Alex and Marie Scheller and many aunts and uncles.
