Obituary of Charlotte Ann Boetger

Charlotte Ann (Nusbaum) Boetger age 65 of Centennial, Colorado passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at her home in Centennial. She was born February 27, 1951 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado the daughter of Hermann A. and Dolores Johnson Nusbaum. Charlotte graduated in 1969 from Nederland High School in Nederland, Colorado. On January 22, 1972 she was united in marriage to Garret “Garry” Allen Boetger in Denver, Colorado. To this union were born three children, Michael A., Cary J. and Carla M. In Charlotte’s early years she worked in the administration department for Mountain Bell and Qwest. For the past fourteen years she worked at Guaranty Bank and Trust Company as a bank teller in Byers, Colorado. Charlotte loved to bowl. She was an active member of the weekly bowling league at Lucky Strike Lanes in Strasburg. It was always a priority of hers to go bowling and she rarely missed. Charlotte was a loyal Broncos fan and she enjoyed crafting, sewing, and cross stitching. She also took joy in fishing with her husband Garry. Charlotte always looked forward to the holidays where her cooking and baking brought her family together with much enjoyment. Her most precious work was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family who she loved so much. Her talents, gifts, and generous heart, will be expressed in all of their daily lives forever. She was preceded in death by her father Hermann and her brother, Robert Nusbaum. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Garry of the home; her son Michael A. Boetger of Centennial, Colorado; two daughters, Cary J. Kitchen (Nick) of Centennial, Colorado and Carla M. Boetger of Centennial, Colorado; her mother Dolores Nusbaum; a brother Gerald Nusbaum (Bonnie) of Center, Colorado; her sister Sharon Byford of Hugo, three grandchildren, Cayla M. Boetger, Joshua N.E. Kitchen and Melanie L.A. Kitchen.
